30% Of Surveyed D-SNPs Say States Mandate Which Supplemental Benefits Are Offered, Most Cover Optional Medicaid Benefits
About 30% of surveyed Association for Community Affiliated Plans (ACAP) in states that have Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plans for dual eligibles (D-SNPs) require that D-SNP to cover a specific group of supplemental benefits for enrollees. Most often the D-SNPs are required to cover optional Medicaid benefits, according to an analysis by the Association for Community Affiliated Plans (ACAP).
