On January 20, 2005, Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services officials announced the winners of child welfare contracts in five regions of the state for family preservation; reintegration and foster care; as well as a statewide contract for adoption services and family recruitment to be implemented July 1, 2005. Contracts were awarded to the following recipients:

• Region One
• Family Preservation: DCCCA, Inc.
