American Biodyne, Inc., based in South San Francisco, went public on July 12, 1991. "We opened at ten dollars per share and sold 1,425,000 shares in our initial offering," said Lisa Suennen, Biodyne's marketing manager. "We were really pleased with the results of the offering."
