Hundreds of United Way Offices Require Outcome Measurement of Funded Organizations
There are about 1,400 United Way offices in the United States, and about 450 of those have launched Outcome Measurement programs. Outcome Measurement is a management tool for local not-for-profit human services organizations to improve program effectiveness and to contribute to United Ways' marketing and fund distribution processes. Outcome Measurement seeks to identify how consumers benefit or are helped through health and human service programs.
