New Web Site Addresses Arctic Health Needs
The National Library of Medicine, part of the National Institutes of Health, has developed a web site to address the special health needs of Alaskans and other inhabitants of the Arctic. ArcticHealth provides information on chronic diseases, behavioral issues, traditional medicine, the environment and pollution and environmental justice. The site will be maintained by the University of Washington in Seattle. It can be found at http://arctichealth.nlm.nih.gov.
