Researchers Find New Insights Into the Genetic Foundations of Autism
Researchers announced in August 2001 that they're one step closer to determining the genetic basis for autism. In collaboration with their European colleagues, scientists funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) have identified regions of four chromosomes that appear to be linked with the disorder.
