Australia To Use IBM Watson To Gain Insight Into Disability Service Needs
The Australian National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), in partnership with the Australian Department of Human Services (DHS), is preparing for a project to use IBM Watson to gain insight into the disability sector to benefit the country’s National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) for long-term services and supports. Australia plans to use Watson's natural language and unstructured data processing capabilities to enhance engagement with NDIS participants via a technology platform that features game-style content and avatars.
