Comprehensive Primary Care Plus Demonstration Shows Few Differences In Access To Mental Health & Addiction Treatment

Non-elderly commercially insured adults with depression, anxiety, or opioid use disorder (OUD) served by primary care practices in Pennsylvania participating in the Comprehensive Primary Care Plus (CPC+) demonstration had few differences in access to mental health and addiction treatment than those served by non-CPC+ practices. Among those diagnosed with OUD, those attributed to a CPC+ practice filled 0.117 more prescriptions for buprenorphine per person per quarter.
