Trying to keep track of AI use – and its effects – in the health and human services space is a moving target. Use of AI for mental health advice is not the same across racial groups. About 16% of adults report using AI for mental health advice, with Black and Hispanic adults being more likely to use AI for that purpose, 21% and 19% respectively.
