VillageMD is acquiring Primary Care Medical Associates in Chicago, Illinois. This is the 45th Village Medical clinic, and the first in Chicago. The founder of Primary Care Medical Associates, Robert Perlmuter, M.D., FACP and the team of six primary care professionals will join Village Medical on February 15, 2021. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Village Medical is a subsidiary of VillageMD. Village Medical provides full-service, value-based primary care in Atlanta, Georgia; Austin and Houston, Texas; Murray, Kentucky; and Phoenix, Arizona. The company plans to enter several new markets in 2021.
