Heard Of SWOT? How About SOAR?
One tool for strategy development is using SWOT, or assessment of Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. I like SWOT as a high-level situational analysis for teams. It is particularly useful to create growth strategies from Strength and Opportunity analyses; likewise outline performance improvement strategies through Weakness and Threat analyses.
