BrightSpring Health Services Files For Initial Public Offering
On October 18, 2021, BrightSpring Health Services filed paperwork for a $100 million initial public offering (IPO). No date has been announced. BrightSpring, formerly known as ResCare, provides home- and community-based services (HCBS) and pharmacy services nationwide. In 2019, the company was acquired by investment firm KKR and an affiliate of Walgreens Boots Alliance for $1.3 billion. BrightSpring intends to use the net proceeds to repay debt and use the remainder for general corporate purposes.
