When Apple released the iPod in 2001, the slogan “1,000 Songs In Your Pocket” quickly caught on. Access to whatever song you wanted whenever you wanted it became an expectation that technology delivered in a sleek package. We can’t say the same for health care yet that type of access to a consumer’s health history is essential for delivering the highest quality of care to consumers at home.
